Why is there no Console Only Cross-Play?
We should get console crossplay only so me and my friend can play together without being killed every 2 seconds by some xtreme fast pcplayer.

Right now I have crossplay turned on and I thought for sure PC players would dominate especially since using a keyboard and mouse but I have found that not to be true. I have NOT come across any cheaters since turning crossplay on. I am not saying there arent any but I have not come across any. To my surprise, there seems to be more teamwork. I get revived a lot more often and I see ammo and medic packs all over the place. I think I will leave crossplay on for right now.
They could easily do what Fortnite did, make it Input Based matchmaking
They try and say it's Skill based matchmaking but will get put in a loby with an s40 and lv5...

All you forum mods do is say we need to keep our language in check, and that we aren't on topic.
How about you all get some devs on here and give us some real answers.
Or do we have to pay for those in micro transactions?

Or do we have to pay for those in micro transactions?@GarfieldTehKat mods remind people to stay on topic and to adhere to the rules so we don't have to shut down threads. It's a courtesy to the community that we are not required to do so the discussion can continue without issuing formal account warnings and bans. Most community members prefer it when we can address the issue without resorting to the hammer.
Regarding the devs there are DICE personnel and EA Community Managers who post here on the forums and many who lurk here gathering data and sentiment. Just because your personal thread isn't getting their attention doesn't mean they're not present.
- @ragnarok013 It has nothing to do with any of my personal threads. Ive been in the forums watching and commenting here and in updates since launch. The response has been minimal, if at all.
A statement from anyone admitting they sold an unfinished game for the cost of a game that would typically come with an 18 hour story mode.

We need responses. I understand people are on holiday. I work full time and when I'm not working I want to play the game the way we're allowed to play.
Can't fight bots and get ribbons, can't go past t3 unlocks, partial progression *. Don't have an infantry only map.
I'm stressed out. I want to enjoy this game I paid $100 for the week of early launch. Or should I say the beginning of "Early Access" - @GarfieldTehKat When the game was first released I could find non-cross play PS5 servers, but since the last patch it is virtually impossible to do so - I think the matchmaking (which I don’t like) is buggered and hopefully they will fix it ASAP.
- @DCAT627 I haven't found a non crossplay match in any of the default Playlist since the game launched.
Playing against pc players on a console i can't use mouse and keyboard on is cancer, it should be input based match making. Controllers with controllers, m&k vs m&k - @GarfieldTehKat I used to think the same thing about playing with PC players but to be honest it hasn't been an issue playing against M&K PC players with crossplay off.
- @CantGetRight Well yeah if your on Xbox or ps and you can get a game with crossplay off you wouldn't be running into mouse and keyboard players since its not compatible with the consoles

Or should I say the beginning of "Early Access"@GarfieldTehKat DICE can't force people not to use crossplay and that would be the only real solution to your crossplay grievance. I don't have any issues finding games when I play on PS4 or Xbox One so potentially you may be able to boot up the last gen version of the game on your current gen console and play console only crossplay and have the experience you want on PS5 or Xbox Series X with the only limitation being 64 players - which many people prefer to 128 players.
Regarding official EA/DICE responses those come from the official Battlefield accounts on social media and official posts here on the forums. Devs will not offer official responses to issues unless they are authorized to do so as part of their job, so if you hope a UI or graphics, or systems design dev will come in here and start responding to threads it's not going to happen.
Feedback about portal has been continuously given to DICE so we can only hope that they listen at this point. I share your disappointment about not being able to progress in Portal, in fact it's one of my biggest bones of contention with this entry outside of the basic design concept departure form the series past entries. I understand that you and many others are frustrated, disappointed, and outright angry sometimes, and DICE is aware of it as well, I can assure you of that.
