Why is there no Console Only Cross-Play?
We should get console crossplay only so me and my friend can play together without being killed every 2 seconds by some xtreme fast pcplayer.

@AutotitansMouse and keyboard support + input based matchmaking would genuinely transform this game. All the other stuff about specialists/classes/balance etc. all pale into comparison to the giant issue that input disparities creates. The game just simply is not fun on consoles, at all.
Battlefield games always have longer engagement ranges than other shooters which is why it has always confused me that it also has by far the weakest aim assist. However, in previous titles, you’ve only been playing against people with the same input deficiencies as you. Now in BF2042 we have cross-play against PC AND 128 player maps that are larger and have even less cover so the engagement ranges are even longer than your typical Battlefield.
All these factors add up to a disastrous experience for console players.
This is a big missed opportunity for EA because a lot of PC players bought consoles recently due to the state of the GPU market. If console actually played well, they’d sell a tonne of $70 copies of the game to ex-PC players.
I think many (like me) are now starting to look at Vanguard and wonder whether that’s a better option since it offers mouse and keyboard support.
@EA_Aticor others that are modding this topic/subjectI have cross play turned off both in system level (wish I didn't have to do that, as then I can't play sea of thieves qithnmy friends, without having to turn it on and off every time in system level). And in game ofc.. But, I never get to play a online game unless cross play in on in system level, and in game.

Then I have to get killed by hackers sniping me with a sniper rifle from a helicopter at very high speed.... 🤷🤷😔 One bullet one kill. We do NOT want to play with hackers and cheaters. Fix this for console player's. This is the worst I have ever seen in a game. Not one single game, have I been able to play, without some sort of hacker or BS
Give us what you promised us EA. Ability to play with only your platform.. Having to go and turn off cross play in system level is so weird. And even then it's impossible to find a match. Had Xbox since 360 period. And I have never had such a bad experience in my life with a game. And from the looks of it, this thread proves that this is not a time of day issue (I tried myself). People that have system level cross off, doesn't get games either... And from the looks of it, it has been like this for almost 1 year now 😦😲😲 This makes me think I should start asking for a refund in my 150€ purchase! Doesn't seem like EA/Dice is taking this seriously. 8 didn't pay for this game, to only be able to play with PC players. And having to hassle with system level settings ect ect when switching games.. This is obviously disrespect towards the console community! This shouldn't even take 1 month to fix.But here I'm sitting with the same problem that people where having in December.. that's insa
I will be asking for a refund. Demanding it actually. Thankfully we have rights in our country against stuff like this!! It's a shame, because BF2042 is now becoming a good game. But I refuse to play against hackers/cheaters. Been trying for 1hour and 30min now, in and out of matchmaking, and no match is found. I have tried this long, while streaming it, just so I have evidence when demanding my refund. Being forced to play against PC players that are hacking, using aimbot out of a fast moving helicopters and what not

i really can't understand how this has not been fixed in almost 1 years, since this thread started in December. as I know many are on the fence on buying the game now, that it is starting to get very good actually... Sadly, many will not consider buying it before it's being fixed, when they find out soon somehow 🤷 guess people are able to do a search on the web or something... Coz I did, and there is a several hundreads of topics on this all over the web. But this topic, that we being forced to crossplay & hacker/PC crap is not acceptable in and on any level. Clearly dice/Ea is not doing anything about it, it sick

Or even simpler, let us progress on the battlepass we paid for, in solo/coop mode. Since the game actually is broken on console 🤷 somebody in a helicopter headshooted me with a 50. Cal heli in full speed from a very very long distance.. no idea how far it was, but damn.. that's was almost impressive, even for a hacker... 🤯 Since dice doesn't have a good anti cheat clearly, why on earth would u force this on console players by having it on by default ? Will be writing to Xbox about this as well, because I think dice and Xbox actually needs to communicate about this whole crossplay thing. Since they have the option to disable it in system level, it is causing some sort of issue with the in game enable/disable... I just refuse to just sit here and do nothing.
- @SunnyDrip76 Don't understand the need to have crossplay with PC they can't do anything to fix hacking and Cheating issues but for some reason they still allow consoles to have to deal with this. Why all these gaming companies feel the need to push crossplay with PC is ridiculous until consoles are not so limited in what they can do will never work. Pretty much every lobby I have played in the top few players in the lobby basically dominate and they are PC on both sides.
