Why is there no Console Only Cross-Play?
We should get console crossplay only so me and my friend can play together without being killed every 2 seconds by some xtreme fast pcplayer.

@NazT55 There’s never been console only crossplay on the next gen version. It only exists on old gen. Since launch, crossplay has always put me in with pc players.
@SMiT2710 Yes there has been crossplay only on next-gen versions. If you were on PS5 then you would only play with PS5 players. Xbox Series would play with other Xbox Series players. Yes, last gen could play again PS and Xbox players. On the Xbox series, you had to disable it another way than going through the options screen like you could on the PS5 version.
- @NazT55 that’s not crossplay. Console only crossplay would be Xbox and PS playing together, like on old gen. They need to bring that to the next gen consoles. That’s what people are asking for. The PC crossplay servers are a terrible experience if you’re on console. I now play with crossplay off. A lot more games since it came to ea play and the servers are more stable than pc servers.

- @SilverJackal96 Yeah, every day since S3 dropped. I’m on EU servers. Sometimes I’m straight into a match, other times you just have to give it a bit of time. Just make sure to move the joysticks or something every now and then while waiting so it doesn’t time out and kick you. Once you’re in, don’t exit to menu after the round, just let the game cycle you into matches.
It can be frustrating at times when the server starts to fill and then people leave, but eventually another match will finish and it’ll dump a bunch of players into your game and start the match.
Give it a go, the more of us that switch off crossplay, the more players there will be to match with, so it’s win/win. Hopefully it works for you.
