We should get console crossplay only so me and my friend can play together without being killed every 2 seconds by some xtreme fast pcplayer. they have unfair advantages over console players… please fix this

The crossplay between consoles and pc is making this game a really unbalanced experience (specially for console players) and is also killing the matchmaking system which is a huge part of why this game doesn't live up to its potential.Why don't you make it a three way option?- Crossplay off (should be default)- Console only crossplay- Crossplay on

@Ai-Fluffy Same goes for me and my buddies who are on PS5. We have crossplay off in our settings as we don't want to play vs PC players.This should be a default setting, only people who want to play with friends on a different platform should have to toggle this setting.

@kregora They’ve made it a little better with the aim assist for console players, long range console players get a little advantage cause of the aim assist, close range pc players still have the upper hand because of the mouse… Its more about balancing out the advantages between the platforms at the moment, i hope they’ll get it right at some point.

@DeepSixxxx Currently Crossplay is a necessity. The game has no longer the player numbers to make matchmaking work without Crossplay.

Console players have an unfair disadvantage when facing PC players in crossplay lobbies.This is very annoing and a turn off from Battlefield 2042. I have already a couple of friends who stopped playing from how frustrating this is. Controllers cannot compete with mouse and keyboard. The only solution for console players is to disable crossplay. However, if one does this, its nearly impossible to find a match with only their specific console players. When trying to start a match, it says "waiting for players to join," but the game never starts.To fix this, DICE needs to limit PC players to only controllers, excluding mouse and keyboard. The other solution is to exclude PC players from crossplay with console players. Let only Xbox Series X players and PS5 players duke it out. DICE.... This needs a fix!

@cornybbq2 Yes, this game is currently a big turnoff for me and my friends because of this. I bought the Gold Edition on PS5 and cant find any lobbies when crossplay is off. The aim assist is still broken and even if it works correctly, PC will still have a big advantage over console (controller) players.
I haven’t played this game in the past 10 days because it simply is not fun playing with PC guys.
Really disappointed that I wasted my money on this.

@Passdogs_dad The lack of non crossplay servers has nothing to do with player population. The same waiting for new players" bs is plaguing every region including eu and na.

100% this game is unplayable in Oceania. I was getting PS5 only games of AoW prior to the 3.1 update, now nothing. Couldn't even get a lobby with the new 64 player conquest maps last night.

Crossplay is the worst thing about the game I hate it pc players dominate the hell out of it especially the chopper pilots it’s not even competitive and it sure as hell isn’t enjoyable to play. Unfortunately it’s the only way to play it in my region on ps5 because it’s impossible to get a game non crossplay. Never had less fun with a battlefield title ever. Usually I get a good 6-12 months or more out of a battlefield but I’m very close to calling it a day on this already.

While I agree that it would be nice to play PS5/PS4 and/or get full lobbies with just PS5, I think you're all whining a bit too much about the PC advantage. I play mostly on crossplay and there are plenty of trash PC players that balance things out.

They need to make input based matchmaking a thing or do console only cross play by default. With an option to join into cross play with PC from there. This allows for console players to keep with console but allows players who want to play with PC buddies easily join them. Console players complain about mouse and keyboard accuracy and speed advantage.. PC players complain about console aim assist.. How does an environment where players use different physical inputs and hardware performance make for a fair competitive playing field? Keep them separated unless you opt into PC lobbies please.

@SmplNerd what if we just don't want to play with pc players. pc elitists should have their own pond to play in and let us console plebs have ours. i haven't seen ANY console players who WANT pc players polluting their games. not dealing with hackers and such was so nice on console

For sure. Crossplay should be imput based. Nothing personal against Pc players but controller vs. mouse and keyboard is not a fair competition
