@Psubond SU-57 is Russia's newest air to air jet, so why not use the F-22 which is our newest air to air jet? Only makes sense really. Apples to apples.
As for the Raptor being retired by then.....who knows really. Hell, the F-18 has been upgraded and awhile for a while. Who knows, maybe the Raptor will be too.
