Why is there no option to disable lens flare!?

I know battlfield is supposed to be cinematic but my soldier doesnt have a camera for a head. So i shouldnt see raindriops and lights flaring from my soldiers eyes. Why cant we disable this. This is ...

The lights from buildings and the sun?

It would be nice to give us some screenshots

Everything looks like its through a lens. Everytime you enter a darker building or look at the some bright lights. Shows up huge "dirt" on the screen that is distracting and obscures my vision.Again looks like viewing it through a camera lens. This is not how eyes work
