Why is there no server/region selection?

Why is there no server/region selection? 

I am trying to play Battlefield 2042 after the BF6 beta close, however, I can't find any matches as the Middle Eastern server is empty with no players. I think it would be good to have access to other populated servers, especially European as the ping there is not too bad around 80-90 ms.
