The lack of servers is absolutely RIDICULOUS .

Dice have tried getting rid of the server browser for some time now.In BFV they 'hid' the server browser in the menu-system and tried to make people use matchmaking instead.

@DevilDocChaosMy understanding of the servers is that they only start up if players are attempting to join. Maybe it was an off day with not a lot of players?

@GrizzGolf The problem is that if they had 100 servers running with 5 players in each, it wouldn't be much better.I'm not a fan of how things work, but if the playercount is not big enough to keep servers running, it doesn't really matter.Dice needs to make a proper game, that can keep a healthy playerbase.

In BFV they 'hid' the server browser in the menu-system and tried to make people use matchmaking instead.

At least in BF5 you could create a private party and the matchmaking would put you straight into a server without trying to match you with a squad. In 2042 it tries to match you with a squad before it even attempts to find a server for you and there's no way around it.
