Why not Conquest/Breakthrough 96 or 100?

Someone explain this to me like I am 5. 128 or 64v64 was said to be too many players for Battlefield, so they rolled back Breakthrough to 64 only and Conquest 128 is the only mode with 64v64 left. ...

@Adamonic I have wondered this many times. It falls under the common sense category which means it won't happen.
