Animation changes to transitioning between sliding and going prone
ADS times were “tuned”
New falling animations
I haven’t been playing much since the update, but the game does feel different. I was really enjoying how good it felt to run, jump, and slide around. Now everything feels heavier and not as fluid. The patch notes said they made improvements to transitioning animations, but it feels like the opposite to me.

Exactly. Classes should've made a return to the next BF game. Lesson learned and move on.
Of course we all complained early on about the lack of them. So in a way, they can't win. But i think it would have been smarter to focus on these things first:
1. Fix accessibility. Server browser etc
2. Make more new content
3. Tweak the game visually more, update the older maps, Give RU their own unique look etc
4. Dig into the story they originally gave us --> Climate change, war. Why do most maps just have normal sunshine?
5. Add events to more maps like the rocket exploding:
- On Breakaway: add a Snow Avalanche that could change the battlefield during a game with sudden fog
- On Hourglass: The sandstorm should cause one skyscraper to level and change the battlefield
- On Manifest: tsunami mid game that would raise sea level to rise and change the map
- On Renewal: Maybe an earthquake that would change the map since the earth is moving and shifting revealing new areas to fight in
That to me, is what i originally expected of the next BF. Next level destruction, events...the fact that we had to fight for a scoreboard for 5 months tell you that the team had no idea what they were doing. And now, we get useless class system back but i still wait in the lobby or join a game with less than 100 tickets left.
Pretty sure i will check out S4 but man - this entire 2042 ride has been one giant disappointment.

100% agree, their time would have been a lot better spent focusing on the points you raise.
