I know where you coming from and i think the same way.
But complaining about certain things in games (especially in BF2042) i can understand as they are broken AF aka just really OP compared to how it should be.
Not talking about being realistic or game wise.
The first problem that comes into play imo, is that the team is listening to the wrong people (just the players that post complaints). And if there is multiple ones they most likely follow that line.
But the issue is you mostly won't see a post of people which are fine with those things cause those people won't be here posting like "oh this is nice, that is cool" because they will be out there playing the game.
Second issue imo, if you see many complaints about a thing, the team should then think about asking some of their well known BF veterans who played many hours in many of their titles (like myself) about those topics then to get a clear view if those people complaining are just upset because they are unlucky in game situations or if there is really something to this problem topic.
So a veteran/expert view or opinion could maybe lead it the right way of balancing.
Instead of just blindly following many "random" complaints and then end up with complaints from the other side (like something being too weak or useless).
Third issue imo, the team seem to not test changes before sending them live. And then things are sometimes more broken than before but in a different way.

I know what you mean, maybe they kinda do or maybe not. Don't know. Maybe it's a mix of both.
But what i mean by BF veterans, i don't mean the influencer like YT or streamer.
I'm not any of those things, but i can tell you i probably have more hours of playtime in certain BF games than some of them.
Just cause you make videos of a game or sometimes stream it doesn't say your overall playtime is that much.
What also comes into play is, some streamer or YT just play a certain thing like only Chopper, only Jet or only Infantry and being really good in what they do. But also therefore the complaints can be coming only from one side cause you don't know the other.
Of course a only Chopper or Jet player might complain about ground gadgets ect. being OP or too much cause they only spend time in the air. (meanwhile posting videos going 120 - 0 every match)
Others playing mostly Infantry complain about Choppers being OP and write in the ingame chat how annoyed they are, but nobody thinks about coming back as engineer and actually start doing something against it as a team to get rid if him.

Then we get 100 weird balancing updates that nobody is happy with. And sometimes be even more broken than before and they temporary disable things completely till its "fixed".

- @Its_Travis_199 None of the Battlefields have been released in a finished condition. They've all been tweaked. It takes about a year and a half until they mature into something we can enjoy. It's almost ready.
I've just been muckin about with the rules editor and making new game modes. some twisted, some good.
- @sk1lld They're listening to the wrong people. I've stopped watching Ghostgaming on youtube cos he's whinging about everything. SquidG only for me now.
