Why the same vehicle numbers from 128 to 64 player?

Going from larger 128 player maps down to the smaller 64 player maps, how is it okay to have the same numbers of Hinds, Condors, attack chopper and tanks on the smaller 64 player maps?

Smaller maps, half the players, but still the same number of heavy vehicles. It makes no sense. Sure add more quad runners and more Recon jeeps because mobility is an iconic feature of all BF games.

The end result of so many vehicles in 64 player maps is destroying the quintessential infantry vs infantry experience because for every vehicle we destroy, 3 more take its place.

  • Battlefield is combined arms, If you want infantry versus infantry go play COD or infantry conquest in portal.

@protoman23Thanks Captain Obvious. Try actually reading and digesting the content of my post then come join the discussion as an informed participant.

2042 must be your first Battlefield game. Welcome to the community.

You’ve obviously never experienced maps like Operation Locker, Operation Metro, any of the Gallipoli campaign maps, Amiens and Argonne Forest where vehicles play very little, if any role, depending on the map.

You’re also apparently not very good with math, critical thinking or spatial awareness. You see when you cut player numbers in half(128 to 64), make a map smaller, but keep the same number of vehicles that are available in 128 player game modes, to anyone that’s capable of critical thinking, this OBVIOUSLY causes an imbalance that has a negative impact the on infantry vs infantry player experience.

And please stop with the insufferable “go play COD” antics. We are here to discuss game balance. Telling BF fans in a BF forum to basically shut up and leave the game is as toxic as one can imagine.

You actually think there’s too many vehicles currently? There’s less vehicles in the 64 player modes than any full vehicle map in BF4.
