Why they removed most vehicles in Rush?

So, not only they forgot to add any vehicles in the new map Reclaimed, but they doubled down on their mission to destroy this game and specially its best tactical game type, Rush, by removing most vehicles in Rush? Why? Who's running the Rush game editing? You must not know how Rush has and still is a MEDIUM SCALE WARFARE, with all types of vehicles to choose from, why are you guys destroying Rush? If you have no clue about the Rush then let me set it up remotely from my home, just gimme the tools to fix Rush, I even do it for free, I've been running Battlefield servers for years, I know what the community likes . . .please, for the love of anything, fix Rush, it's ridiculous to spawn so far away with no vehicles just to be basetrapped, do you even know what basetrap means and why it's necessary to have vehicles? Please, stop destroying Rush and fix it.

@LaTiN-SuSpEcT Spor on. It has to be a bug or something. It makes absolutely no sense the way they've changed the vehicles in rush.

Removing the vehicles on the larger maps and cramming too many vehicles on the smaller maps is bizarre.
  • Respawn Entertainment removed most vehicles from the Rush map in Apex Legends in order to make the map more focused on close-quarters combat. The vehicles on Rush were often used to quickly rotate around the map, which made it difficult for players to engage in close-quarters combat. By removing the vehicles, Respawn made it more likely that players would engage in close-quarters combat, which is the type of combat that Apex Legends is known for.

Here are some of the reasons why Respawn Entertainment removed most vehicles from Rush:

    • To make the map more focused on close-quarters combat. As mentioned earlier, the vehicles on Rush were often used to quickly rotate around the map, which made it difficult for players to engage in close-quarters combat. By removing the vehicles, Respawn made it more likely that players would engage in close-quarters combat, which is the type of combat that Apex Legends is known for.
    • To reduce the amount of third-partying. Third-partying is when a third team enters a fight between two other teams. This can be frustrating for players, as they may be killed by a team that they were not even fighting. By removing the vehicles, Respawn made it more difficult for third-party teams to enter fights, as they would have to travel on foot.
    • To make the map more competitive. The vehicles on Rush gave players a significant advantage, as they could quickly rotate around the map and get to the best positions. By removing the vehicles, Respawn made the map more competitive, as all players would have to rely on their own skills to win.

Some players were disappointed that Respawn removed the vehicles from Rush, as they enjoyed using them to quickly rotate around the map. However, most players agreed that the removal of the vehicles made the map more balanced and competitive.

  • I think it was Update 5.## where they made a "Large Scale Warfare" Breakthrough and "Medium Scale Warfare" Rush into almost all infantry, there are barely any vehicles, they restricted the amount of vehicles we could add for a more chaotic battle experience, I thought portal was made for us, not for them to restrict us, we need to roll back that update and allow us to add all, some or just the vehicles we want, please, you know we have suffered with this broken game, just bring back the vehicles.

PS: thank you for the recent update, those night maps look nice and also we can turn the cross hair of and on for the guns and vehicles individually/separately.

  • You can use the default settings or you can customize it, the customization and numbers of vehicles were restricted.

  • Me too, I used to have a few vehicle-based Rush, but the update reduced the number of vehicles, for example, the attackers had a MAV, a light armor tank, a chopper and two four wheels, after that update, we only get a Condor and 2 four-wheelers, and just like that, many other maps were restricted.

  • It was mainly Rush (which they restricted it in secret) but also Breakthrough, which they announced that they were gonna do that because players (crybaby noobs) were complaining about being overwhelmed by vehicles.

  • Rush is (in all battlefields) Medium Scale Warfare, thats why we had infantry Rush for people like you who rather play with less vehicles, out of the 7 Battlefield games with Rush mode, 2042 is the worse, because it was done by people who never worked on Battlefield and never played Rush before. It should be Rush and infantry Rush.

Also, when it comes to Breakthrough, they shouldn't have removed so many vehicles, just keep it like it is and create an infantry breakthrough (the correct breakthrough feels more infantry and the infantry BT feels more like a 64-player TDM
