That's not the point.
If the attack chopper approaches the Wildcat in a straight 1 vs 1 duel, both vehicles are facing eachother, both players are looking at eachother, there's no surprise attack, the attack chopper wins.
That's not supposed to happen.

@Man_iLoveFishingthis is one of the reasons that jet only slots would help to make sure the ACs pay for specializing vs ground only.
I am curious how that AC vs Wildcat encounter would change with sufficient APS countermeasures

So? It’s not supposed to be a “fair” duel. If you’re not using the ridiculous range of the AA to your advantage you don’t deserve to use it.
The AA being “weak” is one of the few things this game gets right.
That damn stealth chopper has no place in the game, another game this week where a pilot, in stealth, just flew back and forth dropping bombs and firing the machine gun, mopping up kills knowing no one could stop them. No lock on from any gadget and if a vehicle tries to shoot it, they just fly off to recover health then back in again.
Such a stupid decision to include this thing.
