Will anti-cheat address the issue of multiple consoles/devices?
With the release of next-gen consoles and cross-play there is likely to be far more instances of players cheating by way of using two consoles (one profile loaded onto each team).
Is the anti-cheat system going to analyse IP addresses for multiple accounts in the same match on the same IP?
I understand that there are plenty of people out there that have multiple consoles and PC's (as do I), but it has been a noticable problem on previous BF games.
When you play enough and take note of the names on the scoreboard and their respective scores you do eventually notice that there are some players making use of this exploit.
Is this something that the EA Anti-cheat team are paying specific attention to?
- @1Hairy-Gorilla By having an account on the other team so you know where the other team are all the time.
The most "famous" example of this got called out on this a couple of years ago and is still doing it with multiple accounts some of which have over a thousand hours with about 25 kills. Going to this sort of effort to win at a video game comes close to being the most pointless thing out there.
