@Lancelot_du_LacTrue.. I was doing some light math in my head as well. However when you have a game that supports 150 players in an instance such as Warzone or Battlefield, even 1-2% means that you're more than likely to encounter cheaters in every match. Not saying they all have the suped up scripts but it only takes one to ruin the experience for hundreds of legitimate players.
If this was a program being released with a 1-2٪ possibility of failure to load. It would never be released and no one would buy it. It would drastically hurt their sales if they openly admitted that their application is compromised.
I just get the impression that people think it is much more common (emulators) than it really is! My view is that many players automatically cry 'cheat' every time they are bested on the battlefield (I have been guilty of the same). So I spectated a couple of really 'good' players. Guess what? They really are good! Their map knowledge and reactions are excellent. I now just try to be in the top half of the scoreboard of my side.

@Lancelot_du_LacPart of the issue is not knowing.....
Of course there are 'good' players out there and being beaten by them just has to be sucked up and that's fine.
But then there are the times when you don't know or worse, know that you have only been beaten by a superior input device.
There are too many players that will do anything to get an edge over others because they can't improve with 'just a controller'.
Too many players worship at the alter of the Almighty KD and other stats that they forget that above all else, gaming should be fun and fun for everyone.
Going are the days where a group of like minded people can jump on a console, have a drink and a laugh because every game is becoming a tryhard sweat fest. And these people are convincing DICE to make it more so.
Look at the hard core lite approach of BFV and constant whinging about KB&M, why can't people just have fun these days? - Lancelot_du_Lac5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 Someone should write a psychology thesis on the mind of the gamer.
Personally, I use games as a bit of stress release and fun at the end of the day. - Trokey665 years agoSeasoned Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac It would be an interesting read and may surprise some people.
And as to why I game, you and me both mate.
