Will Battlefield 2042 consoles players have a chat box?

Good excuse to dust off one of these bad boys if we do get a chat box.

@DiceUprise I dont think we will get it. Its pretty toxic on PC, so best not to add that to the console experience lol.

@DiceUprise You don't ever want a chat box on console, coming from a PC player. Trust me. The nasty stuff people say in chat is just crazy. It will leave you thinking 'how can people even say or think such stuff'. So just don't. Wait for better commo rose options to communicate with your team.

I would hope that a Chat Box is available in Battlefield Games for PS4/PS5 since I'm sick of everyone not having a Mic when you're trying to relay Orders or trying to work with people. It leads to a lot of Single-Player running around with no actual Team Work.

If you take a Team of Mic User Players and put them against a Team of No-Mic Players, the team with the Mic User Players will ALWAYS Win. It's a guaranty unless the No-Mic Players are Cheating/Hacking. Include a Chat Box, and this outcome changes to a more level playing field.

It's about the only down-side to playing PS4, nobody uses a Mic. The ones that do use Mics are about 8 Years Old and just throw insults at everyone or brag on about them being all that. THEY'RE 8, WHY ARE THEY PLAYING THIS FRANCHISE?

Nobody uses the Mics that were supplied with the PS4, and this effects Gameplay when you're trying to get any level of Team Work going. You have to resort to Morse Code Bullets and Flashlights, or Telepathy to get anywhere on Console.

If it's an issue for you on PC, I think F10 is your best friend there. I think it's either 'F10' or 'H' it's been so long since I played Battlefield on PC I don't remember.
