Will Battlefield 2042 going to be delayed?

@Penmous It's funny because on the one hand, DICE missed gamescom (unless they reveal something today which is unlikely) and haven't shown much gameplay so far considering that the game releases in 2 months and on the other hand we have devs tweeting about their playtest experience and from their tone it seems like everything is going as planned. A delay is possible but I hope not.

@FireExhauster As I write this I came to a thought, that it might be, that Dice is using the leaked pre-alpha build footage to their advantage.

Everybody is sitting and waiting anxiously to get some more gameplay footage.
Everybody was pretty underwhelmed by the leaked footage. Yes yes! Even I understand much of the leaked gameplay is early, pre-build, pre-alpha technical stuff.

And this is exactly what I mean... The majority of the community have seen the leaked gameplay on YT.
A few have voiced their concerns...
But a lot are just waiting even more impatiently...

I hope we get thrown a few more peanuts from EA/DICE soon in regards to more info and we get confirmation for the Beta-test date maybe next weekend or the weekend after...Which is only 4-5 weeks away from early access October 15th!

I wonder what may happen, if the technical playtest feedback didn't met DICE expectations.
