Yup,
Battlefield 2042 seems to be delayed by a month later or 2022.
I'm not sure about the beta though.
Jeff Grubb, a famous insider, has said about the release's delay for the game.
I really don't mind the delay, they should take all the time they need to make it a great game in order to avoid a cyberpunk 2077 situation.

@Player55 Grubb has been wrong alot this year though.
@Jesse165 How are heroes bringing anything good? Did you play Black ops 4 where each new hero was more OP than the last? EA will do the same thing if it sells more MTX. They should be skins and nothing more If they want to drop classes then drop them not add them back as heroes.

Yeah but still...
Who knows...
- OkamiToge4 years agoSeasoned Ace@nickmajic Exactly today is a week until when the supposed Beta is on September 22nd (or so people think that's when it is), and we're also a month from launch now today and DICE have been completely silent not giving out or confirming any info on a ton of things that should be confirmed.

Yeah, sounds like it's getting delayed, still aiming at 2021 release window..

@TankerFlankerDon't think marketing are allowed to move a muscle while execs decide on next steps. Game didn't look that janky tbh, but so did cyberpunk, and that game's release lost investors quite a bit of money (CDPR Poland stock went poof)
Tough call to make.
Have to take my hat off to Activision group (mainly Sledgehammer), they grinded like machines and delivered Vanguard despite it all, really impressive given how much development implosions there have been lately in gaming. - 1Hairy-Gorilla4 years agoNot applicable
@LJBattlefield Cod is different and Vanguard really got an extra year Coldwar was pushed up and it shows, they have InfantyWard, Treyarch games and Sledge hammer in rotation and 6+ studios helping. Its not like the same team releasing a game every year each team gets 3 years.
- LJBattlefield4 years agoNew Hotshot@1Hairy-Gorilla How many studios worked on the BF2042 project?

@LJBattlefield This is the "main" Dice team so the one in Sweden? I guess reading news they pulled the devs of NFS off that to help so
that's not a worrying sign a team with no FPS experience(seems they did help BFV and BF)helping hehe Is Dice LA also working on it?They don't have anymore teams working on BF next.

@AuthurieNO. Just go play something else if your reasons for not liking it are possibly sexist and/or racist because we can play as women and others of color.
As for the other possible reason a lot of us actually love the fact we will finally be able to use Assault Rifles as a Engineer or Sniper as a Support and stuff like that.
So no the Specialists are good as they are. If I could change one thing it would be to make their gagets and perks universal so we could mix and match them with anyone.
But they still don't need to delay it at all just because you don't like it.@Jesse165 Baiting/attacking responses like this are not permitted in the forum. Please avoid using them in the future as repeat offenses will get official sanctions.
