- @Penmous there is leakage of gameplay as of 2-3 weeks ago. Battlefield kinda known for pushing back the game, but if its for the sake of smoother gameplay, i think its for the best. I would hate to have a rushed version of the game, great example of that would be Cyberpunk. Great concept, extremely rushed. I hope EA does it right!
- @DougieDX I am still waiting to play cyberpunk with hopes that it is finished one day.
starting to get hairy fellas
sigh- we do have dead space gameplay at 1pm est. So about 45 minutes. Maybe they drop something at end of dead space teaser. fingers crossed.
- Frostgrenade4 years agoSeasoned Rookie@Penmous They have been awfully quiet yeah, but no I dont think there will be a delay
- @Penmous Worst thing nowadays is to release the game too early, getting back the reputation is insanely hard (Cyb***, B4B beta backlash and massive refunds, etc). If they need to delay the game to regain the trust after so much fus, it is much better than releasing another mess. People need to learn to wait for a good game.
Honestly, I don't care if it's delayed, as long as they try to make it a complete game and they take all the time at their disposal, unlike what happened with Cyberpunk 2077. I think many companies such as TT Games with Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga and others are delaying their games to next year in order to avoid the Cyberpunk situation.
- @Player55 I am also for delaying it if it means a polished shooter we can all enjoy. Delay until next holiday season for 2022 if you have too.
We all want a solid experience and not a bad launch like we had with several BF's.
@Jesse165 wrote:@Trokey66Battlefield V didn't really have many bugs. It's problem was game balancing which still is not good in some areas such as how vehicle ammo regeneration works (Or in this case doesn't even exist)
It's a shame the old forums are gone because it would have the details of all the ridiculous technical issues the game suffered from. A number of which had to be fixed multiple times because they kept coming back with each update. Game was so bad they spent over 6 months on fixing the game alone. It wasn't until the Pacific update that the game got into a decent enough state and it wasn't long after that when the game was finally abandoned.
