Will Battlefield work on Intel Gen 12 CPUs?
Intel has published a list of games that will not work with their 12gen processors due to DRM, however it is not clear if the list is exhaustive or only for already released games: https://www.intel...
That list is an exhaustive list compiled by intel.
It's unlikely you'll face any issues with 2042 using a 12th gen intel CPU.
At most ( if your board supports 11th gen also ) you may need to simply install the latest Bios from your motherboard manufacturer website from the support page ( including Beta Bios's )
But if you've bought both a motherboard AND CPU You'll only need to update the bios to the latest non-beta build as the support will be there for the chip already.
Only those games listed currently have no support with the 12th gen intel CPU's and they will release hotfixes either themselves, or the game devs will need to add support from their end.
