@KnightRa1der As far as i'm aware, there is no mac client coming out, and i can't find anything on a possible future client.
Alternatives would be a dual boot with windows or linux if your hardware meets the requirements, you'd still have to buy a windows version of the game though. (much like anyone using proton/wine on linux)
I saw some mention of stadia/gforce now etc as an option on mac, but i figure that's not what you're asking for.

Thank You so much for an actual decent posting 🙂 I cannot dual boot, as apparently that was a 32bit feature, but i have the 64bit m1 feature on my macbook, but am running parallels windows on my machine, but i don't know if it can handle it as it can barely handle call of duty when using a vmware even though my macbook is pretty much the highest for gaming performance, so I don't understand why it has some issues, but i'm looking more into it, for BF2042 I guess that I will just have to wait till the Xbox Series X gets it and hopefully one day they'll also include in their performance Mouse and Keyboard. What a pity that Mac isn't yet supported, but many thanks again for a peaceable look into it.
