I'd say there is a less than 0% chance that anyone from EA/DICE will speak to that video or the majority of others that state the same thing. There's virtually nothing to gain from it from their side.

@Anobixthey just going to go in the direction they want to, and not listen to everyone else trying to tell them otherwise. Battlefield will never be the same again.
Its a shame but probably the most likely situation. BF was always my main FPS, but watching it burn and turn to ash like this hurts, as I dont really have another main FPS. Unless they do a massive u-turn for the next game, then Battlefield will just always be a hollow husk of its former self and continue to fade into history.
I mean what do we know, we only been playing them for 20ish years, apparently EA knows what is best for the franchise- Anobix3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Spidder81 Yep, sadly, I agree. My first big/multiplayer FPS was TFC [team fortress classic] in the late 90s/early 00s where I played competitively. I got into 1942 and pretty much every subsequent Battlefield release over the years as my "realistic" shooter after moving on from CS1.6/Source/etc.
I can understand not wanting to just release the same things over and over and want to bring in new people and the difficulty of not alienating existing fans while appealing to others. But this was such a LEAP in the wrong direction that I find it hard to believe, honestly.

As long as there are managers and investors who decide if a trend goes into a game or not we will never see improvements. I can imagine how frustrating it is for developers to bring stuff in their game they know fans and players wont like. I bet if its in the hands of devs they would deliver on all fronts. And release their game after it works not to patch it for almost a year.

- edgecrusherO03 years agoSeasoned Ace@Mackstan71 Don't worry. By the time they get it into a good state they'll end support for it like they did for BFV and Battlefront 2, so they can focus on the next exciting Battlefield title that they can sell us with slick marketing trailers. Only for us to realized it's unfinished, buggy, poorly designed, and for the cycle to repeat once again.
