Will Port Forwarding yield a better/faster ping?

Currently getting like 55-60ms ping.   I'm looking to get it to be faster, i already have fiber net at 700mb/D.    Currently not port forwarded to anything.  But i was curious about doing it, but at ...

Port forwarding won't lower your ping but it might help matchmaking find full servers.

I recommend enabling Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) so the router will automatically open and close ports as needed.
