Will Some Specialists Be Locked Behind A Paywall?
Will we need to buy the specialists coming with every season or are they obtainable just by buying the base game?

Wondering the same thing. Game passes are so... I don't want half of this crap... I just want to buy the game and play the game. It is EA so...
- @MoBambaZique I hope not. I know maps are free, but the specialists should be too. Then again I may not care. It all depends on what they do with them. Its possible I may never even want to play more than the launch specialists.

https://help.ea.com/in/help/battlefield/battlefield-2042/fight-for-your-future-in-battlefield-2042/ The documentation you sent raises some concerns as it seems like the specialists might release on an R6/Apex style specialist roster where we have to earn an in game currency to buy specialists, or they might only be for the year 1 pass owners. I am fine with a currency grind as long as it is not too hard to obtain the amount of currency needed, but if they are locked behind a paywall, it will just feel unfair.

I just checked out jackfrags' video, EA said that all gameplay content is in the free battle pass
- @ArchAngeL-PCX If the maps are free, will it have the same issue of no motivation to make enough new maps like with BFV?
