Latest releases doesn't have such strong language restrictions. For example Battlefield V, Anthem, Apex Legends, Need For Speed Heat available with more than one supported languages. Battlefield 2042 will probably have several supported languages for your region. We will learn for sure closer to the release of the game or when system requirements will be available.

Restrictions depend on the country where you bought the gameThe language bundles/restrictions are part also of EA's strategy to have price differentiation across various markets. By restriction of what languages are bundled on a certain local version of the game pack, then they can limit/block cross border trading. Ake we saw recently one of our gamer friends based in Turkey complaining about why the BF2042 was priced so high for Turkey compared to the average monthly income for a worker in Turkey. While when comparing to aka the price for the same product in UK, Germany, Canada or the USA, then it was much cheaper actually in Turkey in absolute $ amount, when doing the currency conversion to compare direct.
So if all language versions would be included on the license, then all customers would flock to the market where the game is selling at the cheapest price. And that is not how EA can reap the highest profit margin on the game across their global market opportunity here. I am not saying if this is good or bad. I am just highlighting the commercial drivers at play here.
Any news in this topic? I live in UK and I want Polish language :D
If not supported - Im out. Cheers!
