Depends on what you mean with 'support'.
Only shallow support with minor changes to UI, rewards and some damage adjustments here and there? This game is doomed.
Or support as in deep support that fixes the big problems with balance and performance, whilst bringing good big maps that can ACTUALLY facilitate the 128 players with vehicles?
I'm afraid we'll only be getting shallow support.
In the old DLC-days, we didn't get content for 2 years and it is now 1½ years since release. I wouldn't be surprised if season 5 is the last one, but we could be surprised.
The next BF-game is probably October/November 2024 and if Dice Sweden is part of the next BF-game, they have to dedicate all resources for this very soon. Especially if they expect to deliver a functioning game at launch (unlike BFV and BF2042) and try to make a BF-game "for the fans".

It feels like 2042 has been out for over 2 years. I can't wait for the next game to come out.
I assume they will trickle content out for Season 5. If they make it a 14-week season, then that would run it up to the 2-year mark from the release, which seems like a reasonable spot to stop adding new content (skins and charms).
I don't think we will see a Season 6, because that would go into Year 3, which would be shocking.

We all thought they would have learned after BFV, but no, 2042 ended up being an even bigger disaster than BFV.
Perhaps this time they will learn?

Perhaps this time they will learn?No man, they won’t learn. They don’t know what we want. I’m not even sure they know what they want. They need to commit to making a Battlefield game, not whatever conglomeration of different genres and games 2042 is. Don’t be COD. Don’t be Fortnight. Don’t be Tarkov. Don’t be Apex. Be f’n Battlefield. I have no expectation to see an S6, I’m still of half a mind that we won’t see S5 seeing as how they walked away from BFV so abruptly.
We dont know for sure. But we can hope that they do.
