I've only just reached rank 50 so I've not put that much time in so the game feels a bit fresher to me than those who are at 100+hours but I feel similar (deflated is a great choice of word).
In certain respects I agree with the choice Dice has made because certain aspects of the game need a rework from the ground up but there isn't that much of a game to be playing in the meantime. I still feel trying to get some of the portal maps into the AOW rotation would bring something extra but I've no idea if that's possible.

i am already playing a lot less. so maybe 1-2 rounds every other day but that is as much as i can stomache atm...
DICE needs to put their money where their mouths are now. the time for talking is long gone now proof to us you want to bother

This is the problem for me, there is nothing else new out that that appeals.
There are older games but they've been played to death!
I won't be playing as much as I don't want to get burnt out on the game.
