Would rather play 32v32 but with 120fps on next gen

So we know the game is not optimized at all, but i have experienced alot of fps drops, one game i was playing like 20 fps for a minute straight, it was unplayable and i can´t stop thinking if they can create in the future the conquest from past battlefields with 32v32, which is fine for me, was always fun and run it better as they said it was the 128 players that were pushing cpus to the max. Would rather have a fluid experience or at least an option to play with less players until they fixed this i guess. Its a fun game dont get me wrong and it´s in early access but just wanted to give my opinion that 120fps with lower players would be amazing. Dont know how possible it is tho.

  • @pedromanpt Yeahm this needs to happen asap. At the moment you can only play 128 player conquest or breakthrough. There is no option for other gamemodes, mapsize, playercount,...
As my PC setup isn´t top of the line anymore, I really want options like this as well.
  • Exactly! The series X is a beast and the performance sucks, i keep remembering those bf1 days, game was a beauty, for me a top 3 bf and with the xsx it would have run amazing, not sure why they wanted to go with 128 players instead of a really beatifull and fluid experience for next gen, and maybe in the future they would implement that 128 player count. I guess they wanted to have something new to show...Not saying is bad but rn not a fan of that high player count. Perhaps the problem isn´t even the players but the game not being at 100% that makes me think that

  • Much agreed @pedromanpt ,

The game performance leaves a lot to be wished for, as right now its below mediocre!

We already reported on this during technical playtest.

And EA promised us the moon, when we get to Beta...

Then we reported again on same during the Beta.

And EA promised it was already fixed, as we played on an old build they said...

And here we are today at launch.

    And its still broken.

So by the way also for the PC platform, so not just the console world that is suffering from  poor infrastructure and game performance to support a fluid gameplay on our screens.

Other games out there are indeed running at 60-120 Hz framerate with no sweat, but suspecting EA to run cheap on the server specs required to support such supreme performance and not wanting to pay for what it costs to make that happen...

  • Yeah i've heard that top end PC's are struggling as well. Didn't know that about the servers, if true such a shame for us. 3 years waiting for so many missing features is just mind blowing, i would be really happy if they find a way somehow to correct it!
