Xbox Population Dead?
With the latest fix of disabling crossplay on the Xbox I was very excited to come home from work and play some games without having to worry about playing against a bunch of aimbots on PC. I ha...
Console PS5 dead also.
Cross-play must "ON" to play with PC Player, otherwise can't play any match.
It's the same for PC too guys. I had to turn cross play back on like 5 or 6 days ago. Friday evenings or peak hours you can probably get away with turning cross play off
What!? PS5 dead???
I play both conquest and 2042 rush without crossplay and always find matches immediately. I don’t know what time you’re playing, but I’m central US and have played in both the mid morning or late afternoon.
The only time I’ve had trouble finding non crossplay matches is for the HazardZone game mode.
@SkooLBoY_SkePtiKYeah I have played the Ps5 version with crossplay disabled since day one, and I have never had to wait more than 10-12 seconds to find a game...
And its always full games (Still haven't seen a bot in 100+ hours)

Complete and utter Gentleman's dangly bits!
Whilst I can't speak for Xbox, on PS5 in the UK, we have no issues joining matches and only encountered a handful of bots at most since launch.
Edit: Crossplay is off.

@chrilscNot true . I have cross-play turned off since day one and there are plenty full servers on PS5.
Just because it's true for you doesn't mean it's true for everyone else. Your region may have more people playing than others, especially mine. Again, I'm on Xbox, not PS5, I get that a lot of you PS5 players aren't seeing issues finding populated servers, particularly in the UK. Congratulations! You get to actually enjoy the game...
I'm also beginning to lean toward to what others have suggested that there may be something broken in matchmaking for Xbox users with crossplay off. There's no way its dead already. For now I've resorted to the last gen version of the game on my XSX, but this also sucks because gameplay on the Xbox One is horrendous (input lag and rubberbanding) making those players super easy kills and not fun at all. I hope that DICE could shed some light on this, but I doubt it ☹️
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PLAYER POPULATION! I preordered this game for my Xbox Series X and since launch have never been able to get into a game of Hazard Zone with crossplay disabled. Yesterday I downloaded the Xbox One version to try it and after only a few minutes, I was put into a Hazard Zone match with NO OTHER TEAMS (see pic). On my Series X, if I turn crossplay off I’ll still get my squad to fill almost instantly, but it keeps searching for 8 minutes and then boots us to the lobby. This proves that it shouldn’t matter how small the player pool is with crossplay disabled. After a month of DICE refusing to even acknowledge this, I can only assume they are doing this on purpose to try to force the next generation of console players into crossplay with PC.
