@TTZ_Dipsy Screening a recon pushing left with a whole squad when your team spawned low and literally body-blocking through the booth and out to the alley and trying to hold the other team inside long enough to let the recon get a beacon up in the left side alley house and getting a two-pronged spawn. I think some never actually experienced no-explosives metro competitive rather than just saw it as a farm map.
Or just managing to get bodies inside the right side hallway and managing to hold it long enough to push to the second set of doors and absolutely demolishing the other team with crossfire and pushing them back to the metro entrance.
Some of the most memorable moments i ever had in the franchise were in infantry maps but i guess it depends on what servers people frequented. The ones with VIP lists outside their own clan that encouraged a good fight and had server-side player tracking and stats for balancing were immense fun in 3 and 4.
Again though, with explosives it did turn into mindless spam even tough you could argue you could do some fun stuff with C4 in those places, no explosives + smoke/flares allowed (to really screw with FLIRs) was by far my preference.
