2042 won't alt tab back to itself

Hi devs I, -throwedppl have been playing battlefield games since Halloween 2002 I saw battlefield 1942 for sale at my local best buy. Being a ww2 nerd of course I thought it had the coolest box art and so I bought it.  To say launches have been tumultuous after that might be an understatement. 

I must say this time isn't as bad as say, battlefield 4's launch. The issue I'm having is 2042 doesn't gracefully resume from alt tab, even on grossly overpowered hardware. In this case x570 chipset, 5900x at 4.8 ghz all core on water, 2080ti on water, 1440p, 128GB ram, 8TB of pcie 4.0 ssds et al. When i try to alt tab back to it nothing happens, same thing (nothing) happens when i try to click on it in the taskbar. Windows 11 stable build as of today.

    @EA_Atic I haven't noticed it happen since 1.1 so hopefully it's fixed. Will post back if it happens again.

    Happens for me too still. I'm not running Discord overlay. Already reinstalled GPU drivers...

    This game is acting strange again. First I thought that something wrong with my keyboard. Unplugged and re insert back my keyboard cable but the issue did not resolve at all. Strangely I could not even ALT TAB to any opened windows tab. I had to kill this BF2042 only then everything is back to normal. This is the only game I purchased with all sorts of stupid problems.

    Same problem here. First time encountering this. I also thought maybe it's a keyboard bug or Windows related.

    Already had other issues like 100% CPU usage during game. 

    Horrendous optimization. Constant technical difficulties. Game is a sham.

    Same here. It only happens with 2042. BFV and any other Steam game I play works fine. When this happens I have to CTR+ALT+DEL and forcefully close 2042. Clicking on 2042 on the task bar or switch to inside task manager does do anything.

    After not having this problem for ~6 months, I reinstalled 2042, including deleting the folder in mydocs. Now getting this problem again.

    There's clearly a setting somewhere that is causing this.
