No, it is very likely that the new EA Anti-cheat breaks ASUS component.
I have shown you many clues (including datapoint from @skyTusx2 ) where the problem ONLY HAPPENS after I launched Battlefield. See attached screenshot. The timestamp is when BF2042 is launched.
Again, the machine&temp reporting&FAN adjustment work absolutely fine in day to day work. Also, there was no issue before the recent EA update.
This is basic troubleshooting skills - the root cause is clearly linked to EA Anti-cheat based on what I mentioned above.
Please escalate to your EA engineering team for review.

I have seen workarounds/fixes in the past by uninstalling amd/asus armory software with the special uninstall tool (check site of youre MB) and reinstall the software.
Also possbile fix is to disable some services (example asus framework / asus lightning service ect ect).

Exactly the same problem here, did you manage to solve it? After opening bf 2042, there is the "EAAntiCheatService Failed to obtain Origin directory error" and atkexComSvc.exe starts giving errors non-stop in the event viewer like your prints! I can't uninstall the Asus software because I use it to control the LED color and fan speed!
Asus Tuf x670e, ryzen 7 7800x3d, rtx 4080!
