Battlefield 2042 already running
So here is the deal. After new dawn update I played an evening with friends and everything worked fine. Next day I try to launch the game and i got the message
Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition is already running.
Cleared cache, uninstalled EA app and reinstalled, rebooted pc, deleted the settings folder. Nothing seems to work.
I didn't update the pc, didn't download anything new and really don't know how to solve it.
Same here Vorih4n, i ha reinstalled Ea app, reinstalled the game on another disk. Tested out difrent random stuff suggested from before. Also reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat. Removed all cache also tested some old thread stuff like open task manager checking when game start and close the "Duplicate" one. But then i got another error so i'm back to zero from 3 hours of troubleshooting.
Idk if it has something to say but i have EA Play subscription for 40 bucks a month. I did not pay for the game.
it also happend to all my EA games.
Edit: Find a solution!
Remove EA Luncher, download Origin, login and let it fix all the games (It will give you a message, that you can't use Origin and you need to download the new luncher) but just let it be, and look and the lower left side bar where it fix the games. After it's all repaiered i restarted orgin and then i click on the update link to the new EA luncher.
Hope it works for the rest that get this issue.
