Battlefield 2042 Crashes after anticheat launcher

    This work for me
    1. Copied files from Origin install location to another folder
    2. Uninstalled BF2042 from Origin app

    3. Closed Origin with Task Manager

    4. Installed BF with the EA App (Using the path I copied the game files too; didn't have to re-download the game)

    5. Launched with EA app


    It launched with no issue.

    Hope this works for others <3

If that was the case, why wouldn’t it work after I did a clean boot and repaired EAC?

Genuinely curious, because I don’t have antivirus software installed, unless you count the windows security.

The game now works for me after upgrading to windows 11 and I have been enjoying it, but the explanation you provided does not match my experience.

Because a OS can be a rats nest of issues, it maybe a hidden virus, a corrupt OS file or even weird security permissions in the folders themselves.
