battlefield 2042 crashes without error

Hello, Battlefield 2042 crashes without error after 5 minutes of gameplay. I have a good computer (i5 12400f and RTX 3070), so the problem is not with it. I have already tried reinstalling the drivers, but it didn't help. Has anyone else encountered this problem and been able to solve it?

UPD Guys, I found a fix. You need to go into BIOS and set the XMP profile with a frequency slightly lower than it was before. Initially, I had it set to 4000 MHz and I changed it to 3733 MHz. After that, there were no more crashes. Give it a try, it should help.

  • I had tried everything but still. this game still crashes after playing for like 5-10 minutes with no error and back to the desktop. Thank you for your tip to try it out.

  • my battlefield 2042 game on pc keep crashing when trying to load resulting in black screen then  kicking me off game continually please is it possible to send a video link or to fix this issue , i am mot very computer literate so technical words like bios  means nothing to me

  • tks for that but due to me personally not being that computer literate i am having to take this to someone to try to fix the issue of crashing / black screen as they will make sense of your message on how to fix thank you

  • Since the last Update on February 26, I have 339 CrashDump files for the same amount of total Game crashes. (see attached pic)

Before that, BF2042 was functioning fine. This Problem happens exclusively with BF2042.

Weird thing not only did the Support never ask to send him one, but the CrashDump files are also unsupported extension types in the EA system.

On the other hand, you can upload different Data types. Usually, those CrashDump files provide detailed information on the crash cause...

Today EA support forwarded me this link in this forum.

Normally I don't like fiddling with the BIOS system.

Dezzerrr, can you pls give me a snapshot of the settings in your BIOS for Comparison, every PC hardware setting is different from another.

    Many Thanks in advance...

PS Also in this Forum the upload of CrashDump files is prohibited! Why?

WIN 11-64 Pro. MoBo: ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING. SSD: LEXAR 790 4TB. CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K. GPU: MANLI RTX 2080 Ti. RAM: HyperX 3200 MHz 64 GB. Monitor: ASUS 4K 28"/VR: Pimax 4K/TrackIR-5/SAITEK X55-Yoke-Rudder-Trim Wheel.

You could wait forever for EA to fix it. They seem to expect their customers to work for them for free
