It seems the culprit was a Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB I recently got, I reinstalled Windows on a different drive and Battlefield works fine.
@Demon6988 Did delete all files and folders from EA AC first before installing new EA AC ?
Make sure hidden files/folders is selected.
Find all folder from EA AC and delete them:
C:\Program Files\EA <-- delete here the AC folder
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042 <-- delete here
EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
preloader_l.dll
C:\ProgramData delete here eaanticheat folder
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming delete here EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool folder
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming delete here EA folder
Now reboot PC , start EA Desktop App , and check if there is an update for BF2042.
Start game , if game cant find EA AC and doesnt update / fix / repair then check this folder for EA AC installer:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat
Install location can be different if ya didnt use the DEFAULT location.

Is memory running at stock Mhz or did ya modify it in the bios ? Incase of modify set stock Mhz and test again !
Is the process for EA AC any different when Battlefield was installed with steam, other than different location for the game files?. I will try all of this in a few hours. My RAM is set to 3000 MHz with the DOCP/XMP settings.
I followed your instructions for EA AC, and still after every time the same 3 files have to be re-validated because this_b is added to them. I uninstalled Armoury Crate and iCUE and turned off DOCP in the bios, still crashing, sometimes it's instantly after learning the game, sometimes it's while loading a map, sometimes I can play for 5 to 10 minutes before it crashes. Still no windows crash dumps just there was an error creating the dump, and no new battlefield crash dumps. I disabled automatically starting during a blue screen to see if I could see an error code but it just freezes inside battlefield so I can't see the blue screen.
I tried doing a clean boot and disabled everything non-Microsoft except steam and EA. It still crashed but this time to the desktop and then I got the blue screen, critical process died, but it stayed at 0% for collecting information. Also, I have three monitors, the main monitor (dp1) had the blue screen my second monitor (hdmi1) had regular desktop background and the third monitor (dp2) was blue and appeared to have some artifacts. I only play Battlefield on the main monitor. So I guess I'll try disabling/unhooking the third monitor.
I finally have a bunch more battlefield crash dumps and upon analysing them with windbg the problem is with VCRUNTIME140.dll so I think I'm going to try reinstalling Visual C++
That got rid of my error(please see attached), but now when I click on the icon, the EA app appears and then nothing else happens. The game doesn't start. When I go to EA app click the "play"icon, it says "Game launching....." but nothing happens, just the EA app re-starting.
what i did is reinstalled battlefield 2042 and that seemed to fix the issue. I use my laptop. I have a Katana 15 B12V MSI.
