Battlefield 2042 graphic artifacts

I am getting weird artifacts in the game. It is almost like playing Halo or Destiny 🙂 Specs: ROG Z790 Maximus Extreme i9 13900K ROG Strix 4090 OC ROG Thor 1200w 32GB DDR5 RAM Windows 11 Pro ...

    @EA_Leeuw No, these artifacts were only in Battlefield 2042. The rest of the games had crashes/freezes.

    Afterall every possible troubleshooting suggestion, I replaced the CPU. Apparently it was a faulty 13900k. Everything works now.

Hey @iElessar,

Do you have DLSS enabled by any chance? If so, could you disable it and see if that changes something?

@EA_Leeuw Tried both on and off - they're there with random crashes.

    @iElessar, hmm, so now the game crashes if you disable DLSS?

      @EA_Leeuw Yes - random crashes in addition to random artificats as in the screenshots. They do not show up in every game.

        @iElessar, alright, you didn't mention that in your original post.

        The RAM sticks that you mentioned earlier, did that change anything?
