Well i can confirm I completely rebuilt my pc as wanted a different motherboard as the gpu clip snapped. I changed my ram and also change to a 13 series processor and fully water cooled build now temps are not high in the slightest 64GB of ram with an RTX4090…
oh just to add I also changed my SSD to be safe…
guess what…. The game still stutters.
you can even see it in their recent release trailer 🤣
I had no issues with my 3080. upgraged to 4090 now it stutters from time to time. its so weird. They need drivers or patch or something.

I'm having the same issue. This game runs like *.
RTX4090
5800X3D
32GB
x570 MSI gaming plus
Installed on a Adata xpg8200pro (good one) m2 drive or samsung 860 ssd
Stuttering stuttering and stuttering. I have freshly windows installed a month ago. Downloaded the drivers from msi's website. Updated the bios. No luck. All games rune fine.
/edit; a lot of packet loss. ordered three new switches.

I dont think they intend to fix any of these issues ... its been bad since Chapter 3 lots complaining about TN spikes and they still havent fixed it.

The game has been running fine until today.. Now I've started to get micro stutter in game and also had it crash to desktop mid game. I've changed nothing and this has only just started happening.
What do you think could be causing it?

Dices DX12 implementation hasn't been good. It wasn't good on the previous Battlefield games where DX12 was an option.. Never ran well on previous BF titles when chosen compared to the DX11 option.
Compare PC BF2042 gameplay clips on Youtube to PS5 gameplay... The smoothness of gameplay on PS5 is worlds apart from the PC version. Its a real shame that Dice cant improve the the laggy / intermittent stuttery PC gameplay to match the smoothness of the PS5.
