Update, I was told I'd receive a refund in 7-10 days as long as I don't spend any in game currency.

    Same thing happened to me.

    I went to EA support, gave them my registered email, EA ID, and 2 screenshots of the order summary.

    I got nothing since then other than that the status changed to waiting on player...

    What are they waiting for me to do? Give up?
