Battlefield 2042 suffers from graphics driver issues

Experiencing graphics driver issues when launching Battlefield 2042, reporting "The graphics card has been physically removed. ”
In fact, after checking, I am sure that there are no issues with the graphics card installation and drivers.
I checked for updates to my graphics driver as suggested in the error window, but my driver is the latest version (Geforce gameready566.03) and that still doesn't fix the issue that 2042 won't boot.
I followed a friend's suggestion and tried to disable the computer's built-in GPU to enter the game, but the frame rate stabilized at 10 fps with severe stuttering.
Only Battlefield 2042 has this issue, and the rest of the Battlefield series and other games I've purchased have never bothered me with this
The three attachments show the Error Window, Error Message, and My Configuration.

The DXDIAG report also suggests the game is running on the CPU graphics rather than the RTX 4060. I suggest connecting an external display and closing the lid to help ensure it's using the RTX 4060. There may be other steps you need to take to ensure the RTX 4060 is what the external display is using. Good luck.

  • Your friend has the right idea - you need to make sure the game is using your RTX 4060.

I suggest you attach a DXDIAG report, as someone may spot something causing your issue.

  • I may still need some tips.
I've tried a variety of methods, including setting the graphics card priority and updating the drivers multiple times, reinstalling the whole game, etc., but nothing worked. Have you ever seen this error pop-up for other users? I look forward to your reply。

  • I tried to revert the CPU graphics driver back to an earlier version and successfully launched the game. Although it is still heavily stuttering, I am sure that a suitable version will be found soon.

@worcamwolveskin Ya game is not using the RTX4060 card.
YA should enable this with some kind of a mux switch , or change settings in youre nvidia control panel for bf2042 app.
