    exactly, from what I've understood from my little research is
    that "recommended" old drives are jus out of date for windows, and the new one is just not fully finished/compatible to all hardware/software features.

    although it could be a completely different reason, that is my conclusion.

Thanks for the file! (I will remove it from you post as per request)

I can see from your DxDiag that you're experiencing some issues with your Radeon software, it seems to crash quite a lot with a KERNELBASE.dll error. This could have something to do with it.

I would recommend to check if you're using the most up to date drivers for your GPU and if you have all Windows updates installed.

What I also would like to mention is that if you maybe have an overclock active, for either your CPU, GPU or Ram (XMP), to please turn this off/revert back to default settings, mainly to see if it could have something to do with a possible wrong overclock.

hey,
first, thank you for your time!
i did had some trouble with it.
i tried to clean install my gpu drivers using the DDU program in safe mode and it fix it!
though now I'm crashing after 2 min 3 times in a raw of game-play.

I'm running my game on 2k monitor and set it for 60HZ/FPS,

gpu is using only 45% and 65C temperature for it,

so its has no problem to run the current settings or any at the current timeline.

all the drivers are updated to the recent version, been checked daily.

I'm not using any kind of overclocking to my pc hardware

it's so wired my gpu is the flag product of AMD and I've never had any problems with it since this "blessed" update
that been said AMD published a drivers update in the same day as battlefield 2042 team did.

so i thought that it might be a connection,
(and i'm not triyng to tell you how to do your work yes 🙂 thank you for trying to help us to solve our problems! )
because all the replies i saw in my post here or in steam had AMD's GPU or CPU.
could it be related that the game is not fully works with their products?
i would like to read your thoughts about it.

i can send the new dxfile aging if you wish to diagnose what ive been said above.

    @1Young_Lion1, thanks a for your detailed post! Happy to hear that there was at least some sort of 'progress'.

    Regarding what you mention about the AMD part; yes, I have noticed that too and I am currently trying to check if this is happening on more boards as well.

    You mention that AMD released a new driver update on the same day as BF2042 Update 3.2 released, right? Could you tell me which version this is and which version you're currently using?

      I have only AMD's GPU, and cannot tell about the CPU updates unfortunately, with that been said i did a little check about the AMD's GPU updates.

      so here it is,
      AMD released the "Adrenalin 22.1.2" on 18/01/22 - the current version that I'm using in my pc
      (same as battlefield) to all RX6000 series (also XT and the previous "M" series).

      **today on AMD's the official website released that this update is optional**
      **in addition they are recommended to stick with the old drive8 "Adrenalin 21.10.2" **

      well I've tried it - didn't work and I'll explain why below

      the reason why is that i have noticed that everyone on the tech world no matter how big or small they are (Microsoft, ASUS, CORSAIR, etc... had published updates to all of theirs software - like apps and games, even Windows got several security and combabilities updates to 21H2 version.

      as well *all the hardware* (Motherboards, RAM, BIOS, ect)
      so something really big happened that day and it is really reasonable that some of the updates aren't fully compatible to each other.

      so to sum things up and i hope I'm wrong we are need to wait to the next updates from the publishers.
      because right now its look really odd that after that major update of most if all the pc software and hardware suddenly things has stopped working correctly.
      we are all powerless at this point to my *OPINION* to try to fix it until we get a new updates/drivers update.

      would like to read your thoughts about it.

        @1Young_Lion1, thanks a lot for the information!

        So if I understand correctly, AMD has released an optional driver/software update; Adrenalin 22.1.2, but they still recommend to use Adrenalin 21.10.2. However, this one doesn't work on Windows build 21H2 (incompatible) and is also possibly incompatible with the most common motherboards, therefore also causing incompatibility issues the game?
