I'm having this exact same issue today. This is so odd to me because I was playing BF2042 fine without any issues just 12 hours ago and did not make any changes since last night for this error to suddenly appear. I tried the following
1. Rebooted
2. Verified file integrity via Steam.
3. Installed latest Nvidia 531.26 drivers
4. Set the BF2042.exe and the EA Launcher to launch with admin rights
None of this has worked and I am stuck in an endless loop of the Anticheat icon flashing then closing then the EA app re-launching and taking me right back to the main page of the app. It doesn't matter if I try to launch through EA or Steam; this same thing keeps happening.
Haven't played for nearly a week, but trying to run the game from Steam starts EA App, running BF2042 from there just closes and reopens EA App after a short delay. No sign of even the BF2042 loading screens.
Today I have Updated nVidia drivers and Windows 11 drivers, so those are the only recent changes to my system.
I have just;
Checked Steam integrity - fine.
Cleared Steam download Cache, no change
Set executables to run as Admin, no change
Uninstalled and reinstalled BF2042 with EA App and still getting the same.
Event Viewer shows no errors, are there any logs with the EA App?
Any other things to try?

Update:
Disabled Settings\Gaming Mode
In MSconfig, turn on Selective Startup, turned off 'Load Startup Items' and disabled all non-microsoft Services, then rebooted.
I was prompted to enable EABackground Service when I tried to start the game ('cos of EA App) but still no joy.
My conclusion so far is either Windows update or an issue with EA App right now as I am at a loss.
Same issue here, played it yesterday and it was fine, updated BF2042 today (had to, forced) and now the game doesn't even launch.
I really do wonder what the testing strategy for BF2042 releases are as every single update is always botched. There's always new bug and bugs from the alpha and beta launch still aren't fixed! Every new addition to the game is broken in some way shape or form. Be it a new map, new mode, new character, new weapon, new vehicle. Like, do they even test the game AT ALL?
I'm not going to try any of the previously mentioned fixes here as none are known to work and it's a waste of my time, like having to write this also is...
I'm just going to wait for the 4.0.2 patch or a rollback to 4.0.0 as that's probably the only thing that will fix it.
What I found on PC is that when you launch it and the anti-cheat loads, if you are not asked by windows if you want to run it...if you don't get that prompt, then the game closes. If you do get the prompt asking if you want to run the anti-cheat, then the game will launch.
BUT, every freaking update now the game will only run for 10 minutes, then crash to desktop, no error message. I assume that this will get resolved magically like in the past, but still its pretty crap that this happens.
