Battlefield 2042 Xbox Crashing or Shutting Down console

Earlier today I experienced the following crashing issues in 2 out of 4 online games:

- While loading the game I was booted back to the Xbox Dashboard

- During gameplay the game crashed and completely froze. My only option was to go back to the Dashboard and quit the game

I'm relatively new to the game and just downloaded a few days ago on GamePass, so maybe this is just an isolated unlucky streak, but definitely not a great start to my experience with the game. I've seen other reports of similar bugs/crashes amongst a few different sites but have not found a solution to the problem anywhere. Several users were hoping the latest patch/update might resolve these issues, but at least in my case it has not. These issues have only ever occurred with Battlefield 2042 - as I have about 12 other games in my library that I regularly play with 0 issues.

@coop044 Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.

How to power cycle:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
