You didn't say if you resolved your problem, I hope you have it has been 2 months, but for anyone else that reads this with the same problem, daemon tools also can install a couple of virtual devices that you can find in device manager. Look for any device with the daemon tools name and remove them, I believe one is a storage controller and one is a virtual USB device. In device manager you may have to click on view and select "show hidden devices" to see them. After removal reboot and hopefully have fun gaming again!
Yeah I also saw some posts say that you may need to reinstall and then uninstall again if that doesnt quite do the trick. That software REALLY doesnt like to let go huh.
Yeah it's a bit concerning how much stuff some programs leave behind on your computer after running their "Uninstaller"! A couple people I talked to had tried installing and uninstalling again without success until running Revo uninstaller as well, it found lots of stuff that was left behind, files and many registry entries.
