BF 2042 reboots my PC when in the menus

PC Restarts randomly when playing BF 2042

Hi, bit of a weird problem here I am hoping someone has a fix for.

I have been playing since launch with zero issues, but since about 4 weeks ago (but hard to say as I took a break from the game for a few months) my PC will literally restart itself while in the menus.  Generally this happens only in the menus, never in game.  In fact it happens without fail on the first time I load the game up for the day within a minute of being in the menus.  After the reboot I can play fine, sometimes all night for hours, other times it will reboot again between games in the menu after a few games.

I can play other demanding games no problem, COD all night long, not an issue... it is just bf2042, can run unreal engine editor, 3ds max, photoshop and other graphics heavy apps with no issue.

Temps are fine.

Ryzen 5800x

Gefore RTX 3070

32 GB 3200 mhz Corsair ram

crucial m.2 nvme drive

Windows 11, however same issue on windows 10

Latest bios

all latest drivers for hardware inc video card.

No overclocking

In every other respect my PC performs flawlessly except for this issue in BF2042

I have seen plenty of other unresolved posts here and on reddit  with this same issue (From the event log):

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

If anyone has found a fix for this error i would really appreciate it as it is extremely frustrating!

    @WTFxxPrYzM  Do this please !

    Memory+Motherboard+bios check part specs

    Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
    Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
    When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
    Now enter this command:

    wmic /output:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt memorychip list full&wmic /append:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt baseboard get product, Manufacturer&wmic /append:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt bios get smbiosbiosversion

    At youre C: drive there is now a file called mb_mem_bios_info.txt post this file please !!!

    Here is the ram and mb info attached.  I wouldn't waste your time though searching for incompatibility- my ram is on the QVL list.  Its the first thing I check when building PCs.  I also did memtest 3 times with zero errors.

    I will reiterate again that I have played since launch with zero problems for over a year, this problem only started happening after the Season 3 update I would say, and I have zero problems with any other games or graphics intensive apps such as Unreal engine, 3ds max, blender, photoshop etc.
