Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
Cleanboot is just a one time clean boot ! Next reboot all will be reset and a normal boot will be occure.
Use msconfig to disable apps permanent each for new reboot.
- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
did a clean/fresh install of bf2042?
What trouble shoot did ya do already ?

thank you very much for the quick reply.
CPU, and graphics software was updated, cache was cleared, EA app reinstalled, game repaired 3x times and reinstalled.This phenomenon became worse and worse after each game update of Season 4.
The first time I start the game the black screen comes directly, it only helps to close the game and restart.
After that, after each finished match and map change, the black screen is there again only helps restart the game.The cleanboot I will test this week and report.
Little update to the Black Screen.
Did MsConfig disabled all services except Microsoft, after reboot enabled the services needed for BF2042.
Result was as before, first start black screen restart of the game was necessary, then played a maximum of two rounds, then black screen again.
What is the solution for this, is there a way to enable Origin again?

I was crashing for the last few weeks where my screens go black i had to hard reboot it to play again.
The issues got worse the last week and a half.
Finally resolved by downloading DDU display driver uninstaller and running it in safe mode win 10 and removed all nvidia drivers.
Then reinstalled to the latest drivers again and running great now.
The issue was so bad that i was gonna stop playing bf2042 but now everything back to normal. I still dont believe it but it worked

I have tried it this way, the only thing that has changed is that I do not get a black screen every round but every 3 to 6 rounds.
Then again permanently, until I have restarted the game about 3-4 times.
Little update since the Server Crash today 06/03/2023 on EA side, i am back to have a Black screen every round.
So i guess this issue wont be fixed anytime soon.
