BF2042 BSOD/PC Restart seemingly at random.

Experiencing random PC restarts, monitors go black and PC restarts during game play or loading screen, only happens on BF2042, no other games.

This first happened around 3 weeks ago, I scoured the net and found it was related to directx/display drivers, so I used DDU, uninstalled all nvidia related drivers and reinstalled, worked fine since then until today when it happened again with the exact same dump logs.

Don't have any issues on any other games.

Specs;

4080 Super

9800X3D CPU

2x 16GB DDR5 6000Mhz Corsair Vengeance

Error is related to dxgmms2 according to dump files, here is the log;

    Hi, I got exactly the same error today when I was loading a new map file. It just went dark and the screen rebooted.... 1v1 error dump like yours, did you manage to solve the problem? ))))))

    I have same error dump, only with battfield. catch them now on exit from game. Asus Tuf4070Super,z890,ultra 5
