BF2042: Can't search my PS5 friend from my PC | "SEARCH FOR EA ID" is missing

Hi everyone,

i'm playing Battlefield 2042 on my PC from Steam account and i'm trying to search/invite my friend which is playing on PS5. The "SEARCH FOR EA ID" Field is missing in my game where i could search him? And he doesn't have it either? Did this feature got removed? Or how can i invite him from my PC?

In the screenshot you can see that the "SEARCH FOR EA ID" is missing.

And clicking on "SENT EA FRIEND REQUEST" does nothing.
