Everything seems to start normally, I see the game launch window pop up, then the anti cheat, then I get a command prompt window and it closes nothing happens. I've attempted to get ahold of customer support several times but its seems that they just run bots as I get zero actual support and multiple emails from several different "people" over the same issue so I have to keep explaining the problem over and over and none of them have any real answers. The game use to launch fine before the patch.

Hey, can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience. Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have? Also can you note down any troubleshooting you have tried. Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂 /Atic

I've done the file scanner with Steam and it came back clean, I've also done uninstall and reinstall. I also followed a tech page where i deleted a bunch of Origin source files and redownloaded them, I've also disabled all overlays still no luck. I've checked all my drivers and they they are the most up to date I can get.

@EA_Atic Hi, I am having the exact same problem this person was having as well. I tried a clean boot, repairing EAC, repairing BF2042, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice now. I've tried everything everybody recommended and nothing seems to work. I just want to play the game:/

Me too, the game will launch sometimes and then I get an error saying "easy-cheat" has an issue, this has only been a problem since the latest patch. This game is becoming more trouble than it's worth.

Totally agree! From day one I've had problems launching this game. Now, I'm getting the same issue as you all on this thread.
I've done everything that everyone else tried without any joy.
I do enjoy playing this game, but you nailed it Col when you said it was becoming more trouble than it's worth.
The last post was 3 weeks ago. Have any of you been contacted and given a solution?

Or is just eac launch windows being shown and then ends and back to desktop ?
Any screenshot , if there is an error , would be nice !
